I never tire of saying that jiu-jitsu kids is what drives me. It’s very gratifying to see those smiles on their faces, taking the place of tiredness right after a BJJ workout on the mats.
Throughout my BJJ career, from white belt to black belt, from Brazil to the United States, from student to Master. There were so many lessons and memories of when I was just a kid starting Jiu-Jitsu at GFTeam in Brazil.
I think I’m demanding in every class, but when I see that child smiling and with his eyes shining, I fall apart, I drop the nickname Mau Mau BJJ.
I’m a father and I know how hard it is to educate and raise children with the best education, affection and dedication…
